We are currently seeking a Compliance Officer to lead, direct and manage the application of ensuring compliance with procedures and legal standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and oversee controls necessary to identify, manage, and mitigate legal and compliance risk, including:
- Administration of the complaints and claims management process, with consideration of reputational risks.
- Preparation of regular compliance reports and participation in review meetings with process owners.
- Develop and monitor compliance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive controls and corrective measures.
- Provide ongoing compliance guidance and advisory support to the organization.
- Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and secure archiving of compliance-related materials.
- Recommend policy updates, enhancements, or corrective actions to management, as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the company, regulators, lenders, and other third parties.
- Identify all regulations or standards that affect the organization, both national and sectoral, or the ethical codes of the organization.
- Integration of the processes and procedures of the organization with the pertinent regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in quality assurance, call center customer service, or compliance.

Lending industry experience and advanced degree preferred.
