EPE is seeking an Engineering Recruiter to support our continued growth in Latin America, US and Canada.  This highly visible role will allow you to make a direct impact by influencing our brand and attracting top talent.  

Responsibilities

 

How you can make an impact:

  • Partner with managers and recruiters to understand technical requirements and develop effective sourcing/recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize various sourcing and recruiting methods and tools to engage and attract engineering talent, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the hiring process, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Evaluate candidate information, including resumes, assessments, and interview feedback, to assist hiring managers in making informed decisions; build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future roles.
  • Open and manage, job requisitions in the ATS; maintain complete and accurate candidate records including disposition codes, interview feedback, and offer details in compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Coordinate all interview stages — phone screens, technical assessments, panel interviews, and debrief sessions — managing scheduling logistics across multiple time zones and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and process offer letters, coordinate pre-employment screening (background checks, reference checks, and drug testing as applicable), and track completion prior to each candidate's start date.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to effectively source and engage with candidates.
  • Collaborate with the hiring team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hire.
  • Attend career fairs and work with university partners.
  • Provide back-up to TA and HR department in Panama as needed.

 

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here what’s needed:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-5 years’ work experience as a recruiter or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with sourcing and passive recruiting techniques, including social media recruitment, applicant tracking systems, and candidate sourcing tools. ICIMS experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Must be able to read and write in English proficiently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to recruitment and hiring.
  • Prior experience sourcing or recruiting for technical roles in US and Canada preferred.

Location: This position is open to Panama City, Panama - Hybrid

Travel:  Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
