DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of engineers through the execution of engineering projects, initiatives, and technical solutions related to propulsion and structures.
- Oversee aircraft modifications, repairs, and special engineering solutions, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- Provide technical support to Maintenance and Technical Procurement teams, enabling informed decision-making and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international aviation regulations, including airworthiness directives and manufacturer requirements.
- Manage engineering programs for engines (CFM56) and structural components.
- Drive improvements in fleet reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction through data-driven engineering initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for propulsion and structural issues.
- Collaborate with OEMs (e.g., Boeing, CFM) and MRO providers to develop effective repair and maintenance solutions.
- Optimize maintenance costs and engineering processes, identifying opportunities to reduce operational expenses.
- Ensure adherence to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in aircraft engineering or maintenance, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong experience with Boeing 737 NG/MAX platforms.
- Deep technical knowledge of CFM engines and aircraft structures.
- Proven experience leading engineering projects, modifications, and repair programs.
- Strong collaboration experience with Maintenance, Supply Chain, and OEM/MRO partners.
